On a road course the car stays at speed. The converter and trans will get hot with a high stall converter from repeated starting and stopping, especially when break boosting. In addition, my tranny cooler sits directly up front, like where you would put a FMIC. Have had no issues and have driven it several times to Atlanta from Philadelphia and back, while beating on her at the Z Nationals track day.
